Port Blanc:

Just after the isthmus of the Quiberon peninsula sits the nice breton town of Port Blanc. It hosts a little harbour, some bars and marks the beginning of the cote sauvage. That “wild coast” starts fairly spectacular with a little peninsula.

At the southern end of it YouŽll find a parking lot and some tracks that lead from the cliffs to a beach that is really small at high tide. It becomes a large sand area at low tide that allmost connects with neighboring Port Bara. Again, tide is the main factor for the quality of waves. High tide sees very little usefull things, mid tide offers two main braeks with rippable walls and low tide brings some hollowness into it. The place is a pure sufspot, a swell magnet like Port Bara and gets very crowded on weekends and holidays.

surfing: mid tide brings some nice Žn rippable beachbreaks, of whom the one to the left / south side of the beach offers the longest rides. Low tide sees a lot of closeouts with the odd tube. High tide is only ridable close to the peninsula at the northern end of the bay.

The place favours small to medium swell from northwest and winds from the east to northeast.

windsurfing: no way

kiteboarding: better not try it here

bike: good vehicle to explore the spectacular cote sauvage and may be stumble upon some secret reefs.
