Now, that crowd consisted of only 10 people but 10 people at a point break is a lot. That was a pity, because the higher tide had made the wave break less critically, but still beautifully and very suited for my needs. But I hesitated paddling out with a longboard in a local lineup.

Having already two sessions under my belt this day I took it easy and opted to learn more about the mechanics of the break by watching. I nevertheless speculated on the crowd thinning out later in the evening, something which finally did happen close to midnight. No worries though, as the forecast for the following day was more or less the same.

After all this driving during the past days I really enjoyed being stationary and at or in the ocean all day. The icing on the cake had been the fine warm weather and I slept very well that night.

Wednesday was sunny and warm again. In the morning there was not the slightest breeze and I headed over to the beachbreak. Chest high clean waves greeted me, and I went out for a longboard session. It was fun with the only downside the dubious water quality caused by the nearby harbour.
