This little meal gave me enough energy for the remaining driving distance to the Sinis peninsula, which I reached in the late afternoon. My first way was to the west facing bay to check the sea. The sun occasionally made it through the clouds no and a fresh swell had arrived. The wind was a little bit onshore though and it was still very cool, so I decided to save my energy as I was a bit groggy.
Sunday, November 19th
I had spent the night at the parking at the beach and thus could check the waves in the morning while making coffee in my van. The swell had increased and the wind was onshore, but still light enough to keep that reef in front of the little island properly working. One lonely guy was out, having a couple of good rides. But the wind was due to pick up soon, threatening to mess things up here.
I opted for my obligatory breakfast in that only bar at the peninsula that stays open all year and where all the surfers and windsurfers meet when wind or waves or both are on. The wind was still a light north-westerly but steadily increasing. I felt like windsurfing for a change and drove down to Funtana Meiga.
