According to the forecast the wind should have picked up around noon but it never really did. I went out for a windsurfing session anyhow and it was just not enough. I had a few “wavesailing” rides on the small waves breaking on the reef but to be honest it was lame.
In the early afternoon I gave up, went up to the Tarros ridge again and at least enjoyed a nice view but soon returned to my home base at Mandriola. Here at least the wind swell was serious enough to awake the Mini Capo breaks. The main peak was crowded as ever but the reef to the left had only two guys out. I joined them and had some waves and which sort of saved the day.
After sunset I drove to Mandriola and managed to find a shop where I could buy a urgently needed new gas bottle and tubes for my bicycle. For dinner I drove to the outskirts of Oristano and went into a Mc. Donalds (just for a change).
