It turned out to be the best thing I could do, as the magically sculptured rocks were soaked into a warm late afternoon light and the whole ensemble of natural art once again deeply soothed my soul and made me forget about an up to this mostly frustrating day.
I stayed until the sun had disappeared and the drove into town for a nice pizza. Then I drove down to the harbour again to spend the night.
