EP13-tarte-39h

Monday, January 8th it was still stormy and cold. In the morning it had started to rain, which didn´t make the weather any more pleasant. It was very un-Cote d´Azur-ish but hey, it was windy. Very windy. I drove to the spot at the north side of the Bay of Saint Tropez again. The beach parking had plenty of empty space now, but the height restriction bar prevented me from parking here. So, I stopped alongside the coast road again and went to check the conditions.

It was howling again, something around 35 knot and more. Waves were smaller in the two-meter range. Just a handful of windsurfers and kite surfers were out. A 3.5 sail would have been a good choice. So, I left and drove to Saint Tropez in order to do a little exploration of the peninsula but got lost in the labyrinth of streets in the town centre and never made it into the privileged for the very rich only quarters of the peninsula.

I was frustrated again and drove back to the house to continue my work on the kitchen furniture and sanitary installation. In the evening a hefty thunderstorm indicated a significant change of the weather.
