So, I went back to the van and had a second breakfast. On the way to shore I had spotted waves breaking off the cape at the southern end of the bay and I decided to walk down there to check this. It´s quite a walk along the promenade to even get to the small town at the northern end of the bay. When I reached the harbour to my surprise, I realized that much better waves were breaking here, compared to the part of the bay where I had surfed.
Peaks were much better defined, and some nice lefts and the odd right were breaking, both of them looking like quite some fun to ride. The lineup was much more populated though, and my priority for the moment was to check that cape first. So, I kept walking through the town and along a large harbour for recreational boats, always close to the sea but due to the harbour walls without view on it until I finally reached the west facing wall, bordering to a little cliff.
