I had been taking a few pictures and soon was soaking wet and freezing again. As I currently had no heating in my van, the only way to get warm again seemed to get into the wetsuit and paddle out again. This helped for a while until the lulls and the long periods sitting out at Sea and waiting for a set left me freezing too much again and forced me back to shore.
It was late in the day anyway and I decided to drive to Lemvig to have dinner in a warm place. I put the heating on max and hung some of my wet clothes in front of the ventilator openings and drove as slow as possible to prolong the heating and drying process. My Jeans were still wet though and I probably looked a bit destroyed when I entered the restaurant in the harbour, but they served me without hesitating. The - for Danish food typically rich - burger was exactly what I needed.
Thursday morning, I got up at dawn hoping for some left-over swell. It was overcast and grey again and a very light offshore was blowing. A quick check revealed that there were still some waves and I hurried with my basic breakfast and headed to yesterday´s break again.
