The sun had disappeared since a while now and there was very little light left. I moved on and had another short stop with view on Avalanches. Two guys were taking a last wave in. The hour was very blue now when another set exploded in the now empty lineup. Time to get back to the van now.
So it got dark until I reached my van parked at Lafitenia. As I had eaten almost nothing during the whole day I fed on a few cookies that I found in my otherwise empty food store and then drove to Biarritz to meet my friends. I arrived just in time for the final preparations of a brilliant Coque au Vin and had a very nice evening.
Late at night I drove to Bidart to spend the night close to the Ocean. I felt ready to paddle out myself again and hoped for a first session next morning.
