Golden October
October is a good time to travel to the southwest of France and Spain´s North Shore alike.So I wasn´t too disappointed about the cancelled summer holiday with the prospect of going on a trip during peak swell season and off tourist season instead. First stop was planned on the Ile de Ré, a compromise between family and surfer needs. I didn´t expect too much from that part of the trip surf-wise but had the opportunity to spend the second week wherever the forecasts would drag me.
