Thus ended a string of pretty much identical days. We had stuck to the same beach for six consecutive days, enjoying to live in walking distance and taking had it had on offer. No stressing through holiday traffic to check other places. Following the almost exact same time schedules every day and spending time in an ocean that never really delivered something exciting or even thrilling. It was sort of monotonous but it was very pleasant.
Saturday morning, we had to leave. I insisted on having a quick stop at one of the megalith sites nearby, the alignments of Erdeven, one of my favourable places I the region, before we hit the roads for the long trek east. These uneventful two weeks in August had been nicer than expected, surf-wise. A good preparation for a hopefully exciting autumn back home in the Nordic seas.
