It became a fun session despite the pretty choppy water. I had hoped for smooth flat water because the bay lay leeward of the isthmus of the Presqu´ile de Quiberon. But the incoming tide and the wind whirled up the surface quite a bit. Still good too speed a bit in the sun. I finished the session with high tide and had a well needed lunch, before we left for a bit of exploration.
We had a look at Ploemel, then drove to Etel. Here it started to rain again and I watched a few beginner windsurfers sail the river and a basin perfectly suited for learning the basics.
We finished the day at the dolmen in the forest near Erdeven and savoured a classy sunset before we had dinner in the van.
