The day we had to leave.
Again a light offshore was blowing in the morning sun. Waves were even tinier than yesterday. Knee-high. Barely surf-able. Last chance before the long drive back home. I went out. Choose the peak to the right instead the one to the left, that had a little better waves. Didn´t want to miss the extremely rare surfable sets to the SUP-guys. Had the other “peak” for myself. Managed to glide on a few ones.
Breakfast in the sun afterwards. We strolled around in Sainte Barbe a bit. Love that village.
With that fine weather we decided to leave late to avoid weekend traffic jams around Paris. Instead we drove to Avoye again and went for a little bicycle ride along the rivieras.
We left at about 8 and passed Paris an hour after midnight without any jams.
So, 8 days in Morbihan meant eight days on the ocean for me, windsurfing and surfing. Conditions were not exceptional, just average for this area, but summed up to a good trip.
Will come back!
