The point was on. And I was too late. The dropping tide would leave me about half an hour to max one hour of perfection. Driving back to the hostel to get my board and return to the parking on the cliff would take me at least half an hour. Getting dressed into rubber and walk / run down to the point another half hour. Did I already mention that the tides have some influence here and that timing is key too successful sessions?

The beach / scar breaks to the middle of the bay were working too and might still work with lower tides. But S-Boro North bay would be a better option. So, I stayed for some more time and just watched the point. It had started to rain again and the weather was not fine at all. But who cares about the absence of colours and soaked clothes and bone chilling temperatures when the North Sea shows something like this.

The tide dropped quickly and more and more scars surfaced. Less and less sets lit the point in the process until it was over about 40 minutes after my arrival. I walked back to the car, put the heating to the max and drove back to town. It was time to get to surf now.

Check this gallery for more shots from the point.
