Very early in the Tuesday morning I checked into my fight back to Hamburg where I arrived at noon and went straight back to work. Flight, rental car and accommodation had costed me about 400 Euros. That´s about the same sum that you need to pay for ferries and bridge toll when going on a short trip to places with a similar density off reefs and points like Sweden or Norway
My general concerns about what is going on in England haven´t vanished. But the people I met and the quality of the surf plus the general attraction of the area are a strong counter balance to the negative feelings. So, I´ve put the area back on the “to go” list. But I´ll keep a close look on how things develop.
