But no set suitable for my positioning passed by. After a while I moved more to the inside and like so often once there another bigger set arrived. I had to duckdive it and paddled back out. This time I wanted to be patient and wait for the next suitable set to arrive.
Meanwhile another guy had arrived and paddled out. So we both sat there and waited for the next set to arrive. It didn´t come. There were just smaller waves breaking right in front of the rock and then vanishing very soon.
It was obviously over. I paddled back to shore and had just reached the stony beach when another rogue set arrived catching my companion out of position but it was a good set.
I hesitated and waited. A mid-sized set arrived and the other guy managed to score a short ride. Then again nothing a long time.
Meanwhile another guy had arrived and paddled out. So there sat these two in an almost flat sea. Suddenly another good sized set arrived and caught both of them way out of position. Then again nothing. I grabbed my board and walked back up to the van.
