After my session I went for a little walk along the coast and reached that point. It looked good. Pretty good. The wind had dropped a bit but still was blowing with force and despite its side-onshore direction the waves were breaking with very good form along the point.
This almost-perfection was just disturbed by a few round rocks sitting right inside the wave´s path. I didn´t know if the spot was surf-able and I was tired and it was already late. So I decided to keep this place in mind but not paddle out today. Instead I continued my walk and returned to the beach with sunset.
A bunch of surfers was still out and had some fun – at least as long as they rode longboards. I was hungry and left just after sunset. I needed some food desperately so I drove the main road back until I found a burger fast food. I had a big one and a beer afterwards helped to digest it and to get into sleeping mode.
I had decided to stay in the area for the night and get up with first light, hoping that despite the wind loosing strength during the night some leftover swell might wash at the local shores the next morning.
