Vigso:

You drive through soft rolling hills and tundra like plains, pass the little town and a fancy holliday village, reach the parking lot, get out of the car, walk a little bit to the left to check the waves and You see: WW2 german bunkers half sunk in the sand and sea.......

Besides that the bay is very nice. There is no houses, no trash (keep it like that!), just typical nordic nature.

The beach bends in a long arch. The bottom is sand with some stones. The waves are usually mellow, as they have been already bent by the coast further west and the bay is relatively shallow so the waves start breaking far outside. This is an easy going spot. Depending on wind direction You hit the water on the left or the middle of the bay.

windsurf: best wind direction is west to northwest which comes side- to sideon-shore from the left. It brings mellow waves that offer nice ramps for jumping. North to northeasterly winddirections are also o.k. The place is good for intermediate windsurfer who start getting experiences in wavesailing. The soft waves are very forgiving.

surf: northwesterly brinds bring mushy waves that never last long. Good place for beginners and for longboards.

Kite: very good place for kitesurfing. There´s a lot of room and the waves offer perfect ramps for flying high and even riding them. Not for beginners! Due to the flat profile of the land You can use a wide range of wind directions, starting from southwest over west, north to east.
