Einarsneset – Husebysanden - Lomesanden

South of Farsund the archipelago of uncountable islands and fjords defining the Skagerrak coast of Norway thin out and another peninsula marks the transmission to the relatively even Lista peninsula. The Einarsneset peninsula – a nature reserve – is on both sides bordered by beautiful sand beaches, Husebysanden to the west and Lomesanden to the east.

Both beaches are quite protected and popular with swimmers in summer, with Lomesanden offering plenty of beach infrastructure including a campsite. Husebysanden is less developed but utterly beautiful with its white sandy beach and the offshore islands. It is perfectly suited for beginner windsurfers and consequently there are some schooling facilities there.

The peninsula can be walked along the shoreline and up the hills to the remnants of yet another battery from WWII. The panorama from up here is stunning as is the whole area. Please obey to the rules to keep it the pristine natural beauty it is.
