What followed was a fun session in bump and jump conditions. Just us two without anybody else on the water or on land. We sailed until sunset and packed our gear in the beautifull last light of a cold but sunny winter day. In the light of the full moon we crossed the flooded part of the beach without getting stuck and miraculously made it back through the track labyrinth without getting completely lost. Nevertheless we were very happy when we reached the first paved country road and spotted the first signposts helping us a lot to find back to Carro.
In Martiguez we got lost one last time on the search for a Mc Donalds. We hadn´t eaten anything since breakfast in the quest of finding our way to the beach and get decent water time and were VERY hungry.
Back in Carro we celebrated a perfect day with a game of dice and a few Tequilas in the van of some fellow windsurfers.
The next two days the wind blew from the south-east, in combination with shoulder high waves, grey skies and plenty of rain. The side-offshore wind was just strong enough for a 5.5 sail but did a very good job in keeping the waves in a clean shape. The resulting wave sailing was a lot of fun.
