After this the wind died and the ocean went flat, so we headed back home. Near Genova it started to snow and the following 600 km were a struggle through snow chaos.
Winter. Not the easiest time to go on a windsurfing trip in Europe. Short days, low temperatures, a van without heating, designed to carry one man and his gear, inhabited by two, closed bars and restaurants, all this means very little comfort. But it was well worth the effort.
