Kai Katchadorian (Hawaii_1st participation on a Wave Classic and 1st trip to Morocco)
When I heard about this event, it immediately awakened my senses. Morocco, with it's empty desert point breaks and consistent winds was not to be missed. The invited guests all brought something to the table. Experience, youth, flash, and style; we all had a chance to bring it here. Everyone got to know one another better than before on and off the water. The best feeling was that we were all in the same team, pushing ourselves to ride better than before. There is every indication this will happen again next year and this years event going to be remembered for a long time to come for the bonds that were strengthened on and off the water, and the concept that ended up as a breath of fresh air to the norm.

It was great to be with everyone in Morocco! It was such a great experience and also a huge leaning curve to be surrounded by the best of the best. The team concept that we used was really unique and exciting. We would all be on the beach hooting and hollering for our team mates and this is what made this event unique in the sense that there is no stress, all fun and all positive vibes! Morocco is whole another world and it was great to visit it for the first time, and now I have been to all the continents except Antarctica! The culture and people are so very nice and filled with "Aloha". It was really impressive to see how much talent is coming out of Morocco, these kids are definitely into the right sport at the right time! Our team consisted of Abdel, Francisco Fonseca, JB Caste and I. We had the youngest team and we did great finishing in 4th and charging, pushing ourselves to the limit! My favorite part about this trip and event was to be with all of my friends from around the world, we all might have known each other before, but this trip really made a connection between all of us! I really think that there will be a lot of positive feedback and great things to come out of this.
