Alternative highlights were visiting the local sightseeing hotspots as the famous “ringing stones” that are situated on literally sh§$y cattle and wait to be knocked. We also spend some time pushing the economy growth of the only local fish & chips shop who abviously took advantage of the resulting income to close for the rest of the year.

Here we take advantage to suggest a study of the local cemetry to everyone who finds his way to this island. The thin variety of family names shows that Tiree only recently got a ferry conection.

We managed to avoid adding new names to the rugged tombstones, even though the list of little injuries became longer during the time of constant wind and waves, much the same as the list of destroyed gear got longer.

The little injuries have faded away now, what lasts are the memories of a perfect trip on a remote island with fantastic wind and wave conditions, ready for the ones willing to take the a little bit complicated journey.

And the promise that we gave at our last evening in the pub:

See you again, Ma ha (gaelic: my friend)
