With rain pouring down, the coast looked completely different on the next days, but no one complained with wind and swell being back again for some more excellent waveriding, and you get wet windsurfing anyway....! After a quick scouting tour along the spots, we found sideonshore wind in Le Goullien with 5.2 and a small waveboard, with small but really enjoyable waves. And even though a lot of windsurfers mostly from France, Germany and the Netherlands shared the conditions, the huge bay made it easy for everyone to find his personal wave.

The wind dropped again on our last days, with the local fishermen agreeing to the windguru forecast. We used the time to head further south, along the Cape Finisterre with itīs majestic cliffs, down to the medieval little town of Concarneau. Another place, where time seemed to have stopped and it is really easy to relax and get away from it all.

To sum up our brief 10days trip to the north-western tip of France: Sometimes it is good, that some things donīt change at all!

How to get there:
Easiest way to get there is to drive....it may take some time but enjoy the trip and maybe have a stopover in the Normandy! You definitely need a car to get to the different beaches, and sometimes only small roads take you to the hidden gems. There is a toll on most of the highways!

Where to stay:
There are a lot of nice camping grounds along the coastlines, although a few will not be opened in early spring. It is possible to use the facilities in most harbours, but please donīt leave any rubbish anywhere!!
