Another very good option is renting a small house or flat via the internet! We stayed in various Hotels around Crozon, Morgat and Audierne, with prices around 60-80,- Euro for a double room. There are a lot of picturesque towns like Camaret sur Mer or Crozon Morgat, with Harbour views right from your room!
Spots:
Le Goulien / Kersiguenou
A very wide sandy bay, framed with cliffs that can make the wind gusty in the corners. Best wind direction is SW, biggest waves at high tide. Lot of current!
La Palue
Experts only! It is a long walk down to the beach, the waves can get massive, lot of current. Works best with SE winds, but be aware of your limits!
L´Aber
Perfect playground inside the sheltered bay. Long beach break that works with SE and NW, best waves at mid tide, cliffs on both sides.
And there are a lot more spots, just around the next corner...so don´t stop exploring!!
