climate:

summer can get fairly hot, spring and autumn are cool with plenty of rain (and wind), winter is pretty cold. Wetsuits needed year round

wind:

Predominantly westerly winds with quickly passing depressions bring some waves that allow nice jumping and the odd waveride. Best wind direction is westnorthwest. Easterly winds usualy come with highs and sunny freestyle fun.

Best season is from April to June and September to November. Winter sees a lot of wind but is too cold most of the times. Summers bring usually light winds.

freestyle and lightwind boards, summer sea grass makes an adequate fin very usefull

waves:

some ripples come with strong northwest winds. If You´re desperate enough and have a very large longboard You might try to surf ´em.

some restaurants in town, supermarkets, bakeries, butcheries, what ever You need

some pubs but nothing really exciting in town
